College of Management, Ferris Goldsmith Trading Floor

InSight thrives on complex challenges. In this project, InSight had to find a solution to meet a benefactor’s vision, three different Colleges' technology goals, and a accelerated timeframe. Design, construction and occupancy occurred four months after the start of the work.

A 20-person consultant-stakeholder group established goals, expectations, design parameters, schedules for architects, engineers, technology consultants, graphic designers, and contractors. The College of Management kept the Ferris-Goldsmith families informed and engaged Insight to present the concepts.

"Attracting students who are interested in brokerage and investment banking careers, and engaging our alumni who are already actively working in those fields, will result in graduates who are better
prepared for Wall Street-type careers,
as well as those related to issues of energy
strategy and its financing,"
Steve Salbu,
Dean of College of Management
